Roshni Nadar Malhotra India’s richest woman has now become the chairperson of HCL Technology. Noida based IT company announced this on Friday. Roshni, 38, will replace her father Shiv Nadar. The company said in a regulatory filing that the new role of non-executive director Roshni Nadar Malhotra becomes effective immediately. Shiv Nadar of HCL Tech Managing Director and Chief Strategy of the company Will continue in the post of officer. But now his daughter Roshni Nadar Malhotra has taken over the post of HCL chairman.

Born and raised in Delhi, Roshni completed her elementary education from Vasant Valley School, after which she graduated from North Western University in American. Roshni has completed her MBA from North Western University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Roshni Nadar Malhotra has been the executive director and CEO of HCL Corporation. Apart from this, she has been the Vice Chairperson of HCL Technology and Trustee of Shiv Nadar Foundation. Roshni Nadar Malhotra at HCL Corporation has been responsible for providing strategic guidance to the organization.

Roshni Nadar Malhotra was inducted as an additional director in 2013, India’s third largest software exporter board. All this happened four years after his appointment to the board of HCL Corp, the holding company of HCL Technologies and HCL Infosystems. Roshni Nadar Malhotra, who is interested in wild life and conservation, founded The Habits Trust in 2018. The Trust aims to protect the country’s natural places and indigenous species, with the main mission of conserving sustainable ecosystems and conservation.

Roshni Nadar is also an alumnus of the World Economic Forum’s Forum of Young Global Leaders Initiative, a group of the world’s most outstanding, next-generation leaders. She has also been included in Forbes’ 100 “The World’s Most Powerful Women” list from 2017 to 2019.

According to IIFL Wealth Hurun India, Roshan Nadar Malhotra was the richest woman in the country in 2019 with a total earnings of Rs 31,400 crore.
