Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray is under pressure from “Bollywood mafia”: Sushil Modi

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi has attacked the Maharashtra government in the case of the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The BJP leader has claimed that CM Uddhav Thackeray is trying to save those responsible in the Sushant case as he is under pressure from the “Bollywood mafia”, patronized by the ally Congress. Sushil Modi tweeted, “Uddhav Thackeray is under pressure from Bollywood mafia who are under the protection of Congress. That is why he is trying to save those responsible in Sushant case”.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister also accused the Mumbai Police of obstructing the investigation by Bihar Police in the case of Sushant’s death. Earlier on Friday, Sushil Modi said that the CBI should handle the case. He had tweeted, “Bihar Police is doing its best but Mumbai Police is not cooperating. BJP feels that CBI should handle this case.”

Please tell that Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai on 14 June. Apart from this, sources have said that the Bihar government is ready to demand a CBI inquiry into the death of the 34-year-old actor. At the same time Sushant’s family has filed a case of cheating against Riya Chakraborty.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that he is ready to recommend a CBI inquiry into Sushant’s death if the actor’s father wants and requests the state government for the same.
