Britain’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Friday imposed a moratorium on further loosening of lockdown restrictions in the country due to fears that cases of Kovid-19 may increase. This weekend in the lockdown was to be relaxed. Johnson said while addressing a briefing in Downing Street, London, “We have to adopt more strictness to keep the virus under control.”
He also announced that in addition to public transport and theaters, it will be mandatory to put face masks on many more public places. Citing data from the National Statistics Office (ONS), Johnson said, “For the first time since May in the UK, there is a possibility of a virus infection growing in the community.”
The UK Prime Minister, however, emphasized that progress against the Corona virus was continuing, with the number of deaths occurring every day and week decreasing, but also warned that some European countries to control it ” are struggling.

He said, “Britain should be ready to react.” Johnson, however, denied that Britain was too quick to remove lockdown restrictions for the first time. He appealed to take precautions like maintaining cleanliness and social isolation to avoid the deadly virus infection.
